Come & celebrate France's largest national holiday at Claudia's Country Restaurant!
Where better to share & understand the true meaning of liberté, egalité & fraternité, than with friends at Claudia's Country Restaurant, on the Thunderbolt Farm Estate.
Un peu d'histoire...
On July 14th 1789, a group of outraged Parisians, armed with weapons seized from the armoury of Les Invalides, stormed the royal fortress of the Bastille in Paris. Freeing prisoners who had been held here, after some brutal fighting, they claimed victory over the symbol of the Ancien Régime. The saying liberté, egalité et fraternité (freedom, equality & brotherhood), became a motto of the revolution & is considered part of France's national heritage to this day.
Our Bastille Day dinner is generally held on the Friday or Saturday closest to July 14th!
